But as an added advantage, Honda models can also make everyday driving feel like something special. That’s because Honda has actually been a high-level player in the motorsports world for years, even supporting Indy Cars and F1 racing with its high-performance powerplants.
It’s the kind of spirit we fully support here at Gear6 Motorsports, where our focus is on fun-to-drive used Hondas — including not only the brand’s cars but also its SUVs, trucks, and minivans — is more than matched by our excellent customer service. It’s all part of how we’re shifting expectations here at Gear6 Motorsports.
At Gear6 Motorsports, we love aggressive performance in our used cars — but not in our sales staff. So our honest and friendly sales experts skip the high-pressure tactics and concentrate on meeting your needs. The starting point: a dedication to delivering the best used cars for sale in Tucson. In fact, all of our used cars have been carefully inspected and certified for quality by our skilled technicians before ever reaching customers.
These rides are impressively affordable, too, with most used Hondas — for example — priced thousands of dollars below what you’d have to pay for a brand-new model. Our team then spends significant time researching local market conditions to ensure no-hassle fair-market pricing that your bank account will appreciate. The next step is smart financing, and we can handle that as well. We accept all types of credit and have a trusted network of lenders that are eager to help get you on the road. And with our secure online credit application, you can get pre-approved in just seconds.
Another online benefit is our support for Internet shopping through our virtual showroom. It’s an excellent way to see our inventory from the comfort of your home or office pretty much any time of day or night.
The used cars for sale in Tucson showcase an incredible array of satisfying features, and used Hondas are no different. For instance, used Honda models can supply sophisticated safety systems for advanced driver assistance when you need it most. Some of these technologies can even recognize potential road dangers and respond automatically to help you stay safe. Used Hondas can also check the boxes for uplevel infotainment systems, concert-style audio systems, and compelling luxury cues. It’s no wonder these cars are in such high demand! (Note that exact equipment levels can vary between different models and model years. Feel free to call us if you have questions.)
Gear6 Motorsports is proud to be a local family-owned dealership with strong community roots. As a result, we have a deep appreciation for the type of vehicles that area drivers really want to own. You’ll see that as soon as you check out our extensive lineup with one of the widest selections of used cars for sale in Tucson — which can include used Hondas like the ones listed below:
The Honda Motor Company — founded by Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa in the late 1940s — comes from fairly humble beginnings: Its first vehicle was built by repurposing post-war generator engines to power bicycles. The next logical step came in 1949, when Honda launched its first true motorcycle, known as the D-Type. An immediate success, the D-Type paved the way for Honda’s rise to the top of the motorcycle world. Honda then shifted gears to four-wheel transportation with the debut of the 1963 S500, the brand’s first car. Interestingly, the S500 retained a motorcycle-style chain drive for its motivation.
Honda shifted to a more traditional setup when it began exporting cars to the United States in 1969, and it soon had a major hit on its hands with the 1972 Honda Civic. The Civic was joined by the Honda Accord in 1976, offering drivers two great ways to deal with the 1970s oil crisis. By the 1980s, Honda was building its vehicles here in the United States as well. Honda is now firmly established as a top auto brand worldwide, including right here in Tucson.
